Event Description

ATS Family bonding through competition with other families. Each game gives points (1st - 3, 2nd - 2, 3rd - 1) with prizes at the end.

Attendance

About 67 people showed up. Came from 6 families, 3 of which (ATS Gangsters, Boba Shrimp Co., Funky Monkies) were combined.

Events (In order)

• (Family) Assassins
  • Played assassins leading up to Family Field Day
  • Players were invincible while touching another family member
  • Players whose target was a family member instead shared their target's target (in another family)
  • Small families were given toilet paper protection

• (Family) Ninja
  • Started with intra-family ninja to make winners (2/family) and consolation rounds
  • Families are eliminated when their last member dies
  • Towards the end, form a circle around contestants and crowd them in to prevent constant cowardice

• Co-op Lychee Jelly Eating
  • 2 jellies/person
  • Each person in the family feeds one jelly to the person to the left and one to the person on the right

• Family Human-Kangaroo-Dog-Chicken Tag (took WAY too long)
  • When tagged, players get demoted to the next movement type
  • Players can only tag people who are in the same level or higher
  • Family members can tag each other to transfer lives (one goes up, the other goes down)
  • Shorten the game by killing humans, kangaroos, etc.

• Pastry Race
  • Three pastries per family, planned for 6 families -> bought 20 buo luo baos (pineapple buns) from Bao Bao the morning of (order in advance or you might have to wait for them to bake more)
  • Three family members eat the pastries one at a time (one per person)

• Water Balloon Toss
  • Throw water balloons at the social chairs

Materials

• Stuff for games (food for pastries and lychee eating)
• Megaphone (Bring this. It helps with crowd control)

  • 1st: 1 box assorted biscuits, 1 bag assorted gummies, 1 box chocopie, 1 bag assorted hi-chew, 1 pack wafers
  • 2nd: 1 bag assorted gummies, 1 box chocopie, 1 bag assorted hi-chew, 1 pack wafers
  • 3rd: 1 bag assorted gummies, 1 bag assorted hi-chew, 1 pack wafers
  • 4th: 1 bag assorted hi-chew, 1 pack wafers
