Description and recap
A traditional Xifan Sunday. Budget: $125.
Prep went pretty smoothly but see "Other notes". We basically started on time but fewer people came to this Xifan Sunday, about 40. (The weather wasn't great, so fewer Nexties were motivated to make the McCormick trek.)
Other kitchens we used:
- Annex kitchen
- East Penthouse kitchen
- West tower floors
We made 2.5 pots of xifan, because over IAP we ran out too quickly. Unfortunately, this time we had WAY TOO MUCH xifan (because turnout was low). We didn't even get through 1 entire pot and had 1.5 pots of leftover xifan :'(
When we realized we had too much, we emailed out to freefood@. Thanks to ADT rehearsals, the red bean tapioca was basically all finished by 4pm. A few people came to dump out the substantial amount of leftover xifan T_T and clean up afterwards (around 7p).
- Tony: "Why did the can make a plop sound when I dropped it in the garbage?"
- Janice: T_T
